The Ancient Greeks were very religious people. They worshiped many gods whom they believed appeared in human form, although they had agless apearances and were perfect, no one really knew what the gods looked like for real. They could be human or possibly animal, perhaps even monsters. Who knew.
Greek Gods
Men ran the government. They were rarely home. When they weren't in politics they worked in the fields, or hunted and fished. In there spare time they usually had drinking parties or had olympic games.
Woman on the other hand only rarely left the home. They could attend weddings and funerals. Other than that the only time they left was to visit female neighbors and religious festivals.
As for children they were concidered youths until the age of 30. When a Greek baby was born people sould send gifts, and if the baby was a boy they would hang a wreath of olive branches on the door of the house, if it was a girl they would hang a wreath of wool.
